My wife Mary and I live in Fort Collins, CO along with our 7 furry kids. 2 dogs and 5 cats. 

I've been making a living as an artist since 2001 but I've been playing with art of some form or another my whole life. I was raised in Minnesota and I was often given blank pieces of paper and a pencil. I was entertained for hours. Also my parents would take the whole family on regular visits to the woods in our area. They would let us loose and we would explore for hours before returning home. This appreciation for nature and art carried through to my adulthood.

 

I moved to Colorado in 1983 and jumped around from job to job until landing a position at Art Castings of Colorado in Loveland, CO (www.artcastings.com). I worked in the patina department for 6-1/2 years and along with that developed my own skills at sculpting and casting in bronze.

 

Over the last several years, my wife and I have traveled to and participated in art shows on both coasts and places in between. The Sausalito Art Festival, The Coconut Grove Art Show near Miami, The St. James Court Art Show in Louisville, KY just to name a few. I got my start and owe so much to the Loveland Sculpture Invitational, in Loveland, CO.
